Hi All
Crt 2000 dual voltage Kpo-532 Sirio ML145
Do you think this combo is ok too get me back in the swing of being a mobile cbe'r. If not , what alternatives would you advise???. Thanks in advance.

Hello Mark,
That would be a good combo to get you started. Antenna wise, I would be tempted to look at a Sirio 4000 for better performance. The only caveat to using the 4000 over the ML145 from a practical aspect, is that it is a good deal longer at two metres in length. So, if you are mounting it to a high-sided vehicle, its length may be a problem and you would need to make sure it is securely fastened to the roof.

Hi John I was looking at the sirio 4000, to use when im static on a hill somewhere ,but i thought for my daily drive around the ML 145 would be more practical. I drive around in a freelander so its a bit high.

Maybe hold off the power mike if you're going to be using it when on the move as they amplify the background noise.
