Hi all,
Just an update for you regards Matt's CTX activation.
After a tentative wait for the storms to pass and clearance on shipping he is finally on his way to Lundy Island!
He shall be transmitting afternoon/evenings on CB (11m), and PMR. For the Hams he should also be on 2m simplex as 2E0FGX as well. This is now from today 26th until Sat.29th.
All QSLs will be answered, you can QSL him via 26CT2767@eqsl.me
So if you're around the Bristol Channel area, (and further if conditions allow), be sure to listen out for him and give him a shout. Nice opportunity to work a unique operating location.
We wish him all the best, good luck with it and hope the weather holds out for him.
All the best, Victor

For those of you that don't live around the Bristol Channel area, you could always see if you can receive Matt using many of the online SDR services, (Software Defined Radio).
A link for one popular type, Kiwi SDR is as follows:-
KIWI SDR
This should present you with a map of the world, zoom into the UK and then you can select a map point and go to a receiver. Once on a users Kiwi site simply use the control box to enter a frequency of your choosing and enjoy a listen (Instructions for use are on the sites for tuning, demodulation mode etc. but pretty self explanatory).
Some receivers are better than others, (depending on antenna setups etc.), so worth a hunt around.
Never been easier to be a SWL, (Shortwave Listener), without expensive communication receivers!
Enjoy.
All the best, Victor

I'm assuming that this CTX activation was successful last year, so well done Matt!!
