11m has been ŹZZZŹZZ again today. I really do feel sorry for people who are new to CB and old timers returning to it must be disheartening hearing nothing .

I know what you mean bubbles, and I ve been around on CB even before the 80s, it was good all through the mid 70s all the 80s and up until about 2000 then IMHO it started to go down hill as we started to more and outside interference from all different types of stuff and people losing interest because of the internet and the conditions in radio signals itself has dropped out because of the low sunspots hopefully when the conditions start back up supposedly in a couple or so years time it might all come back like it use to be

Band very quiet today in Scandic area, in north Finland at the moment in a forest, and no one near me for about 70 km , signal meter on zero, nothing to give me band noise at this location, hope to see what happens later.

There are quite a few constant strong carrier transmissions throughout Band D. One very strong one is on 27.157 (stuck right between channel 16 and 17). They have a strange AM tone mod. It's not an Alpha channel, so I'm puzzled about what it is and who's sending them. Any ideas.

No idea, but it's been there all the time for me. A bit annoying as 16USB is a calling channel where we are, no idea why, and also a weekly round.

I heard an Aussie station yesterday (Saturday) early on using EU31 for DX but that was it. Quiet otherwise here too.
