28/12/21 = SSW, 10w
Worked a couple in Ukraine in the morning and also had my second 10m QSO with CU1EZ in the Azores.
There were waves of good propagation through the afternoon bringing in stations from Greece, Crete, Spain and South America (heard the French Guiana station I worked the other day again), but didn't make any further contacts until the US came in again an hour before sunset. Had my second 10m QSO with WX3B and a second QSO with K3RA who I previously had one with on 12m a couple of weeks ago. They were tough for me to get my signal through though and so very thankful for their patience.
I couldn't match the amount of US contacts being made by the intermediate licence holder 10 miles down the road from me, his antenna farm dwarfs mine, but still very happy to have a few more good 10m contacts to end the year

I didn't work them, but did hear Italy and Germany. There did appear to be some skip giving some very short hops as also heard GW1MNC, very strong for a short time, and they are about 75 miles west of me.. definitely not normal line of sight signals into my QTH.

Slovenia, Croatia and Wales were new countries for me the last few days. Solar flux is on the way down, I suspect we had some meteor enhanced Es from the Quadrantids shower.

10 should have been better than it was today as the SFI has been on the up for a few days. Quiet, but I managed V51MA in the afternoon and in the morning, 5B4AAB which was a new country on the band. Both on FT8
Strange day. Most dx going over my head, but heard VK this morning and worked CX2CC this afternoon on FT8, mostly fairly quiet in between from what I saw.

FT8 has been busy recently, but I'm mostly chasing new countries so managed Z32BM yesterday and 9G5AR so far today.

Some nice contacts there, both of you. I have no idea how common or easy they are to work via FT8 though, but guessing a lot less common than a good chunk of Europe?
I've tried to to have a relaxing lazy day and not to get stressed about anything, and that included anything radio. There's a really easy (IMO) award to work towards at the moment, at least for those of us in Europe, WRTC 2022, and so in between the few bits of housework that couldn't be left to another day I listened out for and worked the remaining contacts I needed to get the points, plus a few more. 'Worked' not really the best word as really wasn't any work. Unfortunately, although 10m was lively this morning, I didn't hear any of the WRTC stations on this band. I tried briefly a couple of stations that I had worked previously including Manuel EA8JK in Canary Isl, but they had pileups so I kept to my relaxing ideal and left them to it after a couple of calls... there's always another day.

Well done on the WRTC. Must admit, no idea how common it is to work the more exotic stuff on FT8. I do not find it that easy, may be it's my location and setup, I certainly hear better than I get out. Still miss stuff but these days I'm more relaxed about it and can take it or leave it.
Although not actually chasing any awards I do look on QRZ, eQSL and LOTW to see how things are stacking up.
I have some, most probably very wrong, images in my mind of what Kazakhstan is like to live in thanks to Mr Sacha Baron Cohen. Picturing a radio operator connected to computers running FT8 does not fit in with the country he portrayed. Clearly the whole country is not as in the movie.
Well done on the contacts, I think it may be a while before I work them on SSB. I have had an 11m contact a long time ago into nearby Tajikistan (the QSL is actually in the mix of my avatar) using a stock Stalker IX, so I know it's possible on foundation power using SSB.. there is hope

Worked a few Kazakhs on various bands, there are a few on FT8. Kazakhstan is a very large country stretching from the Caspian Sea to China. Most of the big cities are towards the east so are nice dx really.
Worked a new one on 10metre FT8 Sunday PJ2MAN 1537utc
