Well done with the contacts there Mike.
Go to admit I've been rediscovering/exploring once again digital modes and finding FT4 at QRP levels quite the challenge, enough to keep me interested.

Some nice contacts there Mike and very well done.
I've found FT4 although faster is much harder to work than FT8 which is enough to keep up a challenging interest.

Ha! FT4 is fast Alan but without that deep decoding it can sometimes take a few passes.
Took a few attempts but worked Algeria FT4 on 20m the other night. Good to have the Sahara DX Radio Club in the log especially with the incredible work they do. (We could do with such exemplary clubs in the UK.)
Not that impressive to some but great considering my bit of lawnmower lead in the loft working as an antenna. My old Ham friend asked me if it would work better had I left the lawnmower attached to it!

A contact is a contact Victor. It's just when you have contacted all the locals you want to get out further if you get what i am saying. This is why i am looking at aerials again but i think i am at my limit but will still try. Been helping the station commander this morning

Loving this new lease of life after passing foundation. Haven't got suitable antenna for 20mtr but due to the FT-890'S excellent ATU I've spoke to 9 stations in all and heard dozens more. ATB MW7DOF
