First real sporadic E opening on 10m SSB here in IO81 of 2021 yesterday , plenty of local Euro stuff starting from the Nordic and Baltic Sea Countries moving through to central Europe and then the Adratic and Black Sea areas before ending up mid evening around the Iberian peninsula area. Some big signals via a first hop from around Europe with the E's strong enough for short skip from here to PA/ON and inter G backscatter. DX multihop to A6 ( who didnt hear me although I did hear another M0 work him) and in the other direction VO1. 16DXCC itl but all Euro.

02/02/21 Bit of an opening to the South East this morning on 10m SSB , TA1 and TA6 itl also heard an R6 and a m8 worked an SV1. First opening on band/mode here in IO81 in five days . January ended up with 23 DXCC worked but only PY as DX , amazing amount of DX about though for the first month of 2021 considering overall conditions , besides the PY and A6,VO1 mentioned in previous post I heard LU,CX,CE,ZD7,V5 and know that 5B,4X,ZS were worked from around the UK.

13/02/21 First opening on 10m SSB here in IO81 for nine days , nearly a case of man down to an attack by HOBGOBLINS for the rugby but lucky to check at the right time , ZD7 & FR itl thanks to the fast Solar wind and elevated proton density I guess. Also heard brief snippets of OD & HZ this morning .

12/03/21 ( got the right year this time ) Just the odd dinner time contact into Portugal on 10m SSB , nice to see the Jetstream is back in range and whilst the Jetstream may not be the be end to end all of sporadic E I'd rather have it in range than not . https://www.netweather.tv/charts-and-data/global-jetstream#2021/03/12/0600Z/jetstream/surface/level/overlay=jetstream/orthographic=-6.72,57.59,712

The only action on 10 meters around here is the lawnmower on the end of the 10 meter extension cable.

You are making some good contacts. What sort of station are you running?

Station is pretty basic really FT991A at 7w drive with a Heil proset 6 headset , RM Italy BLA350 amp ( so 400w down hill with a tail wind minus coax loss ) antenna is an Innovantenas 3 ele 28MHz LFA2 monobander max height on push up mast 6.6m but more likely 5.2m AGL .
The only action on 10 meters around here is the lawnmower on the end of the 10 meter extension cable.
Strange same here too!!

Very strange if you get the same as me. I went through the band yesterday and the day before with all the IPO settings turned on like a pre-amp and not a sound on both aerials as well.

I will keep listening for a opening, it will get better as the spring gets later and summer comes it does every year. However will use the 10M extension lead for the lawnmower LOL.

31/03/21 I have never seen the MUF maps look so good this year for 28MHz as around mid day /early afternoon as today, Israel made #41 on 10m SSB for year also heard Reunion and Rep. South Africa and Angola would have been #42 but he never got last letter of my suffix because of QRM from another G station despite being asked to wait by the D2 then he dropped out , hey hum.
I dont really use the cluster but would say 80% of DX stuff on 10m SSB never gets posted other than by the cluster monkeys .Once anything is spotted the Southern European wall goes up and the chances of working the DX from our latitude goes out the window, anyway DXers have wobbly knobs.
Yeah, I know what you are saying. I had 10m band on scan for an hour this morning.... But nothing. Looks like there is activity in Europe though. That may be a better choice for me, if it works!

June/July/August last year on the multi hop sporadic E I could work Newfounland / Novia Scotia on a regular basis but as regards Canada on 10m that was as far as I could get but no doubt the bigger UK/Euro stations should be able to work deeper inland with an extra hop if everything lines up.
