HI All
My name is Mick, i am a foundation licensed ham and have come full circle and would like a call sign so i can get started in CB did it for many years on 27/81 but only recently found out side band and AM are now legal and have put up a 5/8 silver rod and am eagerly waiting for my ss6900 to arrive.
lots has changed since i was last on the air so much like my ham studies I'm looking forward to learning and operating on the now legal bands

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. ss6900 will arrive tomorrow and i will have it connected up for Sat if mother nature is being kind.
Just out or curiosity how long does a new callsign take to generate?
i understand i can use the rig without but I'm hoping to catch some of the nets etc. and look forward to having a group handle for DX work.
do you have s group freq?
