And this is why I desperately need a hf rig as I'm missing all of then! I really wish I could join in but trying to find a reasonably used hf radio is like hens teeth, but I am always on the look out so if I get hold of one before April then I'll let you know and you can count me in.
Tim
I have a Grant II premium and that goes to 30.105MHz in export mode. Might put it on the bay soon as i don't really need it i just buy then to have a play lol.

Ah if you do put it up let me know, will have to do some research on them first though as know bugger all about them, especially as I'm not too keen on running more than 10W for my licence. But I'll do some research cheers

Will do. You can like any radio turn the power down. Look for grant II premium the latest one.

Decided to go for a xiegu g90, have heard some good reviews on them and have a built in ATU so thought it would be a great little starter rig for hf! We shall see when it turns up

Nice one Jeff.
I'm looking forward to my first foray into 10m and an event such as this really gives you the enthusiasm to push on.
We've got a few on board now, would still be nice to see a few more!
