Well done to all so far.


My poor old FT757gx has been in bits on the bench again and after much head scratching a varicap failure was finally found.

Replaced it (and a couple of others) with modern equivalents and had to play around with capacitive padding on a couple of the crystals to get everything back in line. B*gger realigning her all over again but hopefully she's now good to go. (Sat on the bench having a soak-test at the moment....no water involved! )

I might get to use my new home-brew mic eventually!

Hope the soak testing shows no issues and that you'll be on the air wit your new mic shortly Victor. I am  sure you will be, opposed to if I was in your situation I would just be sat looking at it crying I know you can make it good Victor

Keep those points rolling guys (and girls of course, if any want to join in). From what I have seen the past week the conditions haven't been the greatest compared to what they could be for the current position in the sunspot cycle, but there is some good DX out there.

Posting up points.. I see some are editing posts, some are posting new for each, and some are doing both (me). I scan the thread when updating the table so letting know any methods fine, just keep 'em rolling
