Found a spot in the shack for the SS9900. Hangs just under the QO-100 setup, just got to sort out a dedicated ant.
Had a listen using my Hustler 6BTV and heard a lot of DX around 555, so far so good.

Nice setup you've got going Mike.
Always good to squeeze in a dedicated CB in the station.

Thanks for the nice comments.
Not decided on what do about an antenna, would be nice to have a dedicated CB ant but the back garden is over flowing with masts and antennas. Can I get away with another one.

hi mike, I have been using the ss 9900 on 10m and getting really good reports. For the money you pay its a great little radio, thinking about going mobile with it. regards mark

If you can I would, I have a Nasty neighbour and have to keep the peace, also our area is in an AONB and that can have the restrictions placed by the local Green Party
