Hi lads,
I'm off to my mum's in Wiltshire today to unfortunately I can't give it a go today.
I hope conditions allow for a few contacts to be made.
Have a good day all.

My apologies Lads for missing another attempt at a net. (I gather not much luck from the chat box?)
Sundays usually means my missus is home and there's the smell of Yorkshire puddings coming from the kitchen. No Yorkshires, she was working so I didn't know it was Sunday!!

40m was very flat here. No UK stations to be heard at all for me. The chap up in the Orkney Isl is usually blasting through on a Sunday morning to my QTH, but not even a whisper from him today.
Fingers crossed 10 and 11 will pick up this evening as per THIS for some close inter G. If it does there's another chance for some of us to meet up on the air. I'm just starting cooking dinner though, so if the skip Gods can hold off for about an hour and half I would much appreciate it.

Hi Dave,
Yes but it's a 7Mhz net (40 M) unfortunately you do need a amateur radio license to operate on that band.
I have been thinking about a 27Mhz (11 M) net for a while now. If anyone wants to get something going then we can have that discussion.
73's Gary.

Will log in and check the chat box at 11 and put a few calls out if I don't hear anything. Only have a very short time spare today though so won't be able to hang around long.

Hi Mike. Someone usually puts the frequency going to try in the chat box just before. Best way I think, as never know where there is going to be a free space until the time.
Just a note on the chat box for anyone looking for it, depending on what device and software you are using, you might not get access to it. It stumped me once as was using the CT app to view the forum on my phone, and don't think there is way to see it on there (someone let me know if you can). Have to fire up my old laptop upstairs with Chrome on it, access is all good then.
(edit) Alan beat me to the answer

My internet went down again so late to the party. Signal up and down like a yoyo and QRM to match. One contact better than none lol. One day it will happen.
