Bit late in the day on this one but I only just received an email asking if I could post details of this Radio Rally up.
Red Rose Rally
St. Josephs Hall
Leigh WN7 2PJ
This Sunday 26th February
Details are on the West Manchester Club website wmrc.co.uk
Thanks to Peter G4WLI for the information.
If you're in the area, or maybe even further afield wanting something better to be doing on a Sunday then why not pop along.
Be great to hear details of any other rallies and if there's enough interest we could generate a specific section on the forum for such events.
Wishing the guys and gals involved well with it.
All the best, Victor
CT Admin.

Pity I'm on 12 hour nights tomorrow otherwise I might of popped along. Never noticed this when searching recently. I did consider going to the Nantwich one which is a similar distance for me, just slightly further. Although I think I'd finished nights that day so gave it a miss .
Also I've just bought some radio gear I didn't really need so best keep away

Hi Nige,
I only posted details this morning after getting an email yesterday and running it past the rest of the admin lads. Hopefully some will get to attend.
Be great to hear more of events like this for the radio interest and a dedicated section on the forum might just be the ticket.
Yeah, I'd be the same and come home with a load more radio 'junk' which would infuriate the 'station manager'. At least she's happy with the tidiness of the new 'shack'!

Not a search on here Victor, more a Google search to see what radio rallies were running this year .
There are a few bits i need/want, like pl259 plugs, a 3/8th dipole centre etc but no rush. I did get a new soldering iron the other week, from Aldi. Only to find Lidl are now stocking them with variable temperature Never mind
Here's a list of rallies. The Leigh one I surely must of noticed but probably counted it out due to nights.
