John, I've had a 10m contact with S01WS last year, well done on that one. Do any of you know if they are ok with second contacts before I try calling them if I hear them on again? Just asking as some stations don't like, but I haven't actually heard any other stations from that country before so they are probably my only possibility on getting that one in for this year.
Had just 5 minutes yesterday. Heard Curacao, Craig, but I couldn't breakthrough the pileup, well done on getting through. A local was on a few kc up so I got my closest for the year, 12 miles.

They’re fine with second contacts Neal. FYI I’ve never worked any permanent station that has objected to second contacts on the same band, though it’s considered courteous to only work a DXpedition only once per mode per band…

Thanks John. Just asked as I have had a couple of short "we've worked before, bye" replies from other stations before, and checking up on their QRZ pages after they've noted 'only one contact per band'. Thing is I don't tend to jump on QRZ and check stations out before I contact them unless I am in a long waiting pileup and have nothing better to do. Good to know on S01WS though, I'll listen out for them.
Had a bit of time spare yesterday, but typically the conditions (at least to my QTH) were pants on 10m. Let's hope they pick up again soon.

Not struggling as much as me Mike.
(My Eurovision Song Contest 'nil point' infamy is still holding up.)
I've pretty much heard a lot of the call signs mentioned by others but apart from 'almost' a Turkish contact have failed to make a QSO so far. ("Repeat please...repeat please...sorry, propagation no good, 73")
I'm fairly sure that once some good 'skip' pops up my 22.36 Volts of pure RF power to my lawnmower lead antenna will herald results!......So long as my rig holds out.
(Honestly, once again I'm having fun at giving it a try what with another repair on the radio and stringing up yet another antenna. I'm just chuffed that I'm hearing what a lot of you are! )

I know what it feels like to get just half a callsign over Victor, had two like that today. Soo annoying to make it, but not fully make it. Keep trying though and everything will align for you at some point soon.
There's been a few flits of sporadic E today, to my QTH anyway, might be because of the little thunder storms. Start listening out for those closer European stations! Just had one of those 'sounding like they're next door' moments and had to wind everything back as the rig was shaking.

Sorry Victor, I nabbed the point from you. I had the call for dinner too whilst working EA3KE so I guess I missed some action.

EA3AKP, EA3AR, EA3KE....Spain popping through nicely. No dice yet. (1 point would be nice!)
Two year old granddaughter has just announced "Dan-dan. Dinner!" so off I must go.
Good luck to all, conditions are certainly fun with some sporadic E.
Your granddaughter is at a wonderful age, make the most of it as they’re not toddlers for very long! Our eldest granddaughter, Ruby, is now 15. It honestly doesn’t seem five minutes ago that she was just a toddler. Time goes so quickly as we get older.

I agree with you there John bless you mate. Our little Charlotte is the youngest of six spread across a wide age range and I've been lucky through largely unfortunate events to spend a lot of time with them than I would've had opportunity otherwise. My very best to you and family there.
How did the short skip go everyone?
Was it mostly Spain and did you get to enjoy it all even though repeats wouldn't add points.
