Hoiya All
I'm toying with the idea of getting the Thunderpole T-X which, by all accounts, is quitea good handheld CB with the stock aerial. In wideband mode, would I require the following aerial?
From what I've seen the stock antenna works just as well (or poorly?) regardless. Obviously the telescopic antenna being bigger gives more range than the stock and the penultimate seems to be attaching a typical half wave end fed coaxial type antenna to it. (The coaxial types being handy in that they can simply be wound up for transport.)
Worth having a scour about on YouTube where this type of radio is covered in detail from the usual crowd.

Have had a recce on Eww Tube and some interesting stuff on there. Yet to look at the co-ax end fed.
