I will start it off with Hamclock.

Hamclock shows a lot of various info like, time and date, space weather, dxcluster and livespots
to name a few.

You may have seen things like Geochron but a cheaper way is Hamclock especially if you
have an unused Raspberry Pi knocking around.

Mine is an old Pi 400 with a 64gb micro SD loaded with Pi OS bookworm and a 21inch monitor.

If anyone is interested I can do some photos.

A very useful site that explains it better than I can.

Hi Mike,

The Hamclock is a useful piece of kit for many and for those that do not wish to self construct or dive into the world of the Raspberry-Pi the 'Quadra HamClock' is a useful alternative ready built.

I'd love one but haven't got room for yet another monitor unless I can find a smaller display. Wink

I hope you don't mind but I'll move this to a posting of its own within this forum section for people to more easily find.

That's a great start to this forum section and typical of the subject material it's meant for so many thanks there Mike. HamClock Display 1f44d

All the best,
Victor

For those unaware of the HamClock take a look at the link that Mike posted but here also is an image of the information that can be typically displayed :-

HamClock Display Hamclo10

It can be not only a nice piece of 'eye-candy' for a modern radio shack but also a useful one to quickly glance at current propagation conditions etc.

There are versions of the software that can be run on your computers desktop but if you're anything like me your screen(s) are full to the brim of open windows already! Wink

I'm off to dig through my monitor collection to see if I could squeeze one into the already crammed shack or shop around for a smaller display.

If you have pictures of your HamClock in the shack then feel free to post up here. HamClock Display 1f44d
