So I have got my rig which came with a cig lighter adapter which is good because I’ll defo be going mobile after the lockdown.

However, I need a power cable to attach to my power supply in my shed. Any idea where I can get one that will fit a CRT Xenon? Something like this sort of thing below.
Either as a product or made by someone?

Tried both and nothing on eBay and the company I bought it off said it will be approx 2 weeks before they can get one. No worries, I suppose I’ll just have to wait. Thanks anyway 👍

That picture looks like a power lead for a Yaesu FT8900 10/6/2/70 FM box

It is, but I’m trying to get something similar but for a CRT Xenon. Just something I can use to connect to my power supply.

Hi Gary.

If you're just using it at home at the moment just cut the cigarette lighter adapter off the lead and attach the wires to the power supply. You could use power pole plugs if you want to make it re attachable if not just order another one for when you go mobile.

73's Gary.

It’s a standard T-piece power lead used by a lot of mobile radios, by the looks of things.  All iCom and Vertex commercial radios use them, as do iCom (UHF) CB’s over here.

The good news is they’re available everywhere and you can buy the connectors and crimp your own up too.
