The weather has warmed up a bit and the planets aligned nicely yesterday, so I unceremoniously shoved my cleaner into the loft to run my 132ft end fed antenna. My old antenna was half the length and I left it in place for a comparison, the results are like chalk and cheese. Receive and transmit are both much better, and I am very happy with the results, wish I had got Paul to do it sooner.

Very well done there Mark my friend and glad you finally got sorted out. Finally run the antenna 1f44d

When my loft affair went from 44 foot to 88 there was a big difference but more massively so once I got that 130 odd foot up there. I had thought I'd lose out on my 10m operations but a 'resonant' cut coax fed dipole for that band ran alongside was deaf in comparison to the 135ft doublet.

Give Paul my thanks for helping you out and I have a smile knowing that you're happy with your new antenna. Smile
