Hi fellow CTX Campers I’m finally back at it again after a long time of silence.. Perhaps bad news for some as I am a bit of a chatterbox but I hope I haven’t scared all too many away because of it
Anyway.. It feels soo good to be back and I even got myself a brand new radio, exclusively for 27 MHz traffic to celebrate the occasion So now.. Well.. Take cover Gary and Jason and all of you, cos I’m at it again
Take care everyone and have a really lovely weekend.. All my very best to you all.. //Uffe - 21CT017 - 21CTX017 - SM7PGA

Hello Uffe,
It's been a while since you posted on this forum (2020) and I hope you are keeping well.
The CTX side of things went a bit quiet (a lot) here since Matt - 26CT2767 left us and would be good to see some CTX log reports once again.
I wish you all the best with your activities.
73, Victor

Oh hi Victor Thanks ever so much for your kind words mate! This is what it is all about.. Real friendship I wish I could say that about the people in Sweden as well, but there are only a few matching up to that level I’m afraid.. Not so at all in Ol’ Blighty Fact is I feel a lot more at home in England than over here..
Yes.. I really hope I’ll be able to make some contributions in the CTX area.. There is a lot going on right now with both work and house renovations (read tearing down outer walls completely ) but getting out on a radio enhanced hike now and then isn’t really a hard thing to do.. I even got myself the Albrecht 2990 with SSB on for that very purpose, so there’s defo no excuse for me not to now Problem though is, that I can’t access my radio FB account so I won’t be able to post in our forums in there My experience is it’s a quicker way to announce a shorter, say a 1 day event and most likely also reach quite a few more of us than posting in here.. Or I may of course be all wrong about it What’s your thought on that Sire? Are there still CTX people out and about in Ol’ Blighty?
Anyway.. I must say I’ve really missed these good old convies with you lads for all too long so your reply was indeed most welcome Victor.. Thanks again Take care and have a lovely weekend buddy.. 73’s and good DX //Uffe - 21CT017 - 21CTX017 - SM7PGA

No worries there Uffe, most of us here do like to keep things friendly. (Life is too short for anything else! )
Does sound like you're very busy with what I would call massive house renovations and must be a lot of stress. I imagine the idea of venturing off for some radio action must be most welcome with such going on.
As mentioned we haven't had much CTX action, or at least not here on the forum and I do hope that those that participate in such radio activities continue to do so at least purely for their own enjoyment. After all our passions should be enjoyable and as challenging as we care to venture.
We never did replace Matt as our CTX coordinator hoping that one day he would return but with the lack of activity there really hasn't been the necessity to find another willing to undertake the role.
I wish you well with everything you do and hope that you experience many more enjoyable conversations on air.
