Happened upon a 10m opening to Europe today. Had a string of Italian stations, and Bosnia (a new country for me), then “bang”. Dead. Just like that. Fun while it lasted though.

Well done on the LZ's ,I worked afew to. A nice little opening from nothing with big signals and then gone. edit_ at least my throat has recoverd from the hour spent yesterday trying for Mali who never heard me in the end , the Rep South Africa and Chad were also about on TEN SSB at the time so despite quite conditions theres still DX about.

Worked HZ1UAE recently on 15m. Nice to see they are active on other bands. Wil listen out on 10m when I can.
Using only phone, as it's been mostly evenings/nights when I am able to play radio, there hasn't been anything heard for me to work. Have there been any SSB activity during the week days, or is it only digital modes/cw coming through?
I'm only 'listening' on FT8 on 6 & 10 for various reasons. PP5TG (Brazil) also just worked.
The 10m openings are daytime and mainly to Europe with the odd sporadic and short lived opening to far-flung parts. Not heard much on 10 after UK dusk. 9am and 1pm seem to have been productive times recently.
To be honest, if WSJTZ didn't look up the county of the operator I would not have a clue where they are, all the prefixes have changed during the period I was inactive
Solar flux index has been a little too low for much to be happening on 10 the last few days. However it is forecast to improve over the coming weeks. Let's hope it does as propagation moves in mysterious ways.

Good reminder Neal, not everyone likes contests but in this instance with a very borderline band it will be very interesting to see what can be heard. I shall try and take advantage of it. SSB only though, my CW is so poor it's not worth trying.

I wasn't around much today but managed to work into Poland and Austria via (probably) Es on FT8 and heard HA on SSB.
Tomorrow may well be better but I have antenna work to do.
